Reflection

Over the last 12 weeks i have learned that even in a group of two you can be very efficient with the right communication, and making sure you focus on your responsibilities. I have also learned new things in unreal engine, that i can now apply to future work/projects which will benefit me greatly as i was not very good at it before, specifically coding. I now have more confidence when it comes to presenting in front of a group, as we had to do weekly presentations covering any progress/changes we made to the project.

However i have also learned that a bigger/more balanced team would of been helpful to both of us since i was not a coder and neither was my partner. This meant i had to learn/improve on past code i had done, which was challenging but as previously stated was beneficial. If we had someone who was good at coding this would of allowed me to help Adam with any modelling work or the person coding if necessary. This would have also allowed for more work to be done making the project even better and more polished.

I also believe a plan/schedule on something like Trello could of helped with the project so we knew exactly what needed working on, especially with me missing the first couple of sessions where other groups were starting to plan their work.

Overall this module has been really good, has taught me a lot, and has given me a better understanding of teamwork and why its important. I can now take what i have leaned into next year and into any future job(s) where i will be required to work with lots of different people who will have a variety of skills.
